Careers & collaboration

Join us at Dimaagi

We're a psychiatrist-led mind-care and research centre in Jammu, growing a team of clinicians who care as much about ethics, education and access as they do about clinical excellence. If you're a psychiatrist or clinical psychologist who wants your work to matter, we'd love to talk.

Led by Dr Rajinder Kumar · MD Psychiatry RCI & Mental Healthcare Act aligned Hybrid · online + offline, Jammu
What we want to do

We want good mental-health care to actually reach people.

Dimaagi exists to make ethical, evidence-based psychiatric and psychological care accessible across the region and online — and to grow the next generation of mental-health professionals through training, supervision and research.

We were founded on Dr Rajinder Kumar's belief that education changes lives. That's why clinical care, teaching and research sit side by side here — and why we look for people who want to do all three.

What we're building

One centre, several ways to help.

Clinical careOPD consultations, therapy & assessment — online and in Jammu.
Training & internshipsSupervised programmes that build practice-ready clinicians.
Research & toolsLocal evidence and learning tools that raise the standard of care.
Community & awarenessOutreach that reduces stigma and reaches people earlier.
How we work

The principles we hold each other to

These aren't slogans — they shape how we see patients, how we make decisions, and how we treat each other.

Ethics & rights first

The Mental Healthcare Act, RCI standards, informed consent and confidentiality are non-negotiable.

Evidence-based

Prescribing and psychotherapy grounded in current best evidence — not habit or hierarchy.

Supervised & collegial

Regular case discussions and peer support — no one practises in isolation here.

Person-centred

We match care to the person — family-aware with consent, and grounded in Indian realities.

Hybrid & accessible

Online and offline, so distance and cost are smaller barriers to getting help.

Teaching & research

Every clinician helps train the next generation and build local evidence.

Good to know

Questions clinicians ask

Who can join Dimaagi?

We onboard appropriately qualified, registered professionals — psychiatrists registered with the NMC / State Medical Council, and clinical psychologists with an M.Phil in Clinical Psychology registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). We may verify your qualifications and registration during onboarding.

Can I work part-time or remotely?

Yes. Engagement is flexible — visiting, part-time or core — and care is hybrid, so you can work online and/or at our centre in Channi Himmat, Jammu, around your existing practice.

Do clinical psychologists need RCI registration?

Yes. In line with Indian regulations, clinical psychology roles require an RCI-recognised M.Phil in Clinical Psychology and current RCI (CRR) registration. This protects patients and keeps everyone within their scope of practice.

Is there teaching and research involved?

Optionally, yes — and we encourage it. Clinicians can supervise interns, run workshops and psychoeducation, and contribute to research and our case-based learning tools alongside clinical work.

How do I apply?

Message us on WhatsApp at +91 94192 97523 or email your CV and registration details to dimaagi007@gmail.com. We will have a short conversation, verify credentials, and onboard you with orientation and supervision.

Where is Dimaagi located?

We are at Bachitter Complex, Channi Himmat, Jammu (J&K) — 180015, with online care reaching patients across the region and beyond.

Can I apply if I'm based outside Jammu?

Yes. Many roles are hybrid or fully online, so you can contribute from anywhere in India; offline sessions and OPD take place at our Channi Himmat, Jammu centre.

What should I include in my application?

Your CV / résumé, your qualifications and RCI / NMC registration details, and a short cover note on your interests and availability. You can apply using the form on this page or email dimaagi007@gmail.com.
